Second Life®


We are active in the Second Life® virtual world since 2005. We are both in-world content producers and service providers for companies and institutions who are building in this pioneering virtual world.

In 2007, Second Life® exploded as a media phenomen. On the positive side, common people met the virutal world idea for the first time. On the negative side, the media frenzy raised expetations well beyond the possible at that time. Virtual worlds adoption were at its beginnings and their applicability were not well understood even by many experts.

Companies looked into Second Life® as a marketing tool. It worked when the hype was at its peak. When the media attention faded, some companies disappeared from Second Life® too. Most however kept their presence starting to explore what virtual worlds are good for:

  • Communities.
  • Education.
  • Remote collaboration.
  • Simulation and training.

We can help in all these areas both in content production, project planning and management and software development.

Thanks to our past experiences and contacts with top worldwide professionals in Second Life®, in 2007 and 2008 I worked in many important projects for leading Italian customers and institutions: from an event by Inpdap (a state-owned pension fund) during ForumPA 2007 to training courses for government officials, from building the presence of Tuscany in SL to managing the project startup, producing content and developing the web backends for Enel’s four sims island.
